The official English language provider for Griffith University is Griffith English Language Institute. It gives overseas students access to award-winning English language programmes. The courses are made for students at every level, from novice to expert. Graduates of the institute use their English abilities for travel, employment, to pass a competence test, or to be admitted to Griffith University. Since 1990, GELI has welcomed learners of many nationalities to enrol in full-time, top-notch English language programmes. It admits a new cohort of ELICOS students every five weeks.
Griffith College provides free Language Development Modules (LDMs) to better prepare graduates to meet the high expectations of language usage in tertiary education.
