Yorkville does not have a traditional campus. All three locations are in office or business park settings:

Yorkville University Teaching Quality
Core Faculty members support the Dean in all aspects of Faculty governance and administration, particularly those relating to the quality of programs, curriculum, courses, and teaching. They also represent the Faculty in University-wide governance.
Core Faculty will also have the opportunity to teach up to 3 courses per term.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Faculty and University Governance:
- Sit as voting members on the Faculty Council.
- Represent the Faculty of Business on at least one university-wide committee including Research Ethics Board, Library, Academic Appeals and Senate.
- Serve on Faculty level committees, including but not limited to Program Admissions Committee, Curriculum Committee, and Hiring Committee.
- Teaching and learning:
- Serve a sub-discipline coordination role for a related set of courses within a program. This function includes: monitoring the currency and relevancy of the course(s); mentoring new faculty hired to teach the course(s); ensuring consistency in assignments, grading, policies with respect to late assignments, academic integrity, etc.; reviewing student evaluations and making recommendations to the Curriculum Committee and/or to the Dean; providing academic advice to students; referring students to the Dean or Associate Dean when appropriate.
- Review courses for equivalency transfer and advanced standing.
- Program Development: Assume responsibility for supporting the Dean in one key area of continuous program development, including but not limited to faculty training and development, student experience, external partnership development, admissions and quality assurance.
- Foster and support the academic community within the Faculty by, for example, organizing faculty symposia and workshops; scanning and providing overview and updates on regulatory environments across the country; contributing to development of support services for students (e.g. writing workshop; services to students with disabilities).
- Assist the Dean with annual reviews of associated faculty teaching in areas for which the member of core faculty is responsible.
