Royal Holloway, University of London, is a public research university founded in 1985 by the merger of two leading colleges, Bedford College (established in 1849) and Royal Holloway College (established in 1886). It is now one of the top 20 universities in the United Kingdom.

Royal Holloway English Proficiency Requirements
International students should demonstrate their English Language proficiency through standardized tests. They accept the internationally recognized English Language qualifications like IELTS, Pearson Test of English (PTE), Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) and TOEFL IBT. In some countries, they also accept local English language qualifications.x
Students who are unable to meet the English language requirements will have to apply for a preparation program at the Royal Holloway International study center. On successful completion of this program, the students can join the specific course they have applied for.
