Ulster University is Northern Ireland’s innovative university, recognised both nationally and internationally. It is home to approximately 27,000 students coming in from over 100 countries. Ulster has four campuses across the Northern Ireland - Belfast, Coleraine, Jordanstown and Magee. The university believes in making higher education accessible for all students.
Students at Ulster have access to some of the best teaching and learning facilities. They can choose to study undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in the following faculties:
- Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

Its business school is one of the largest in the UK and Ireland, with approximately 6,000 students. Ulster is also considered to be a leading university for sport in Ireland and the UK. The university has made a considerable investment in its major facilities across all campuses – an investment worth GBP 250 million in the Belfast campus represents a major transformation.
Ulster’s career-oriented programmes prepare its graduates for the job market and help them embrace challenges. 94% of the university’s graduates move on to work or further study within six months of graduating.
Students at Ulster receive great benefits in relation to academic support and counselling on their health and wellbeing. Accommodation is guaranteed for international students and available on all of the university’s four campuses. They can also access various sports facilities on campus and be part of a wider community of sport enthusiasts. Ulster’s Students’ Union offers numerous avenues through different clubs and volunteering programmes for students to engage with the multi-cultural community.
The university does offer financial support for international students looking to study in the UK. However, only a limited number of scholarships are available for international candidates for which they need to apply for at the time of application for admission. The scholarship amount is adjusted in the university bill and the final bill is handed over to the student.
Here are few of the Scholarships offered to International students:
