California State University is a public university in California. Long Beach, sometimes known as 'The Beach,' was founded in 1949 as Los Angeles-Orange County State College. With its 322-acre campus, The University is the third-largest of the 23 California State University (CSU) institutes. It boasts one of the greatest student enrollments in the state of California. Arts, business, engineering, liberal arts, education, professional and international education, natural sciences and mathematics, health and human services, and education are among the courses offered by the eight colleges. The Beach's Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is focused to fostering intellectual and research activities. Its main focus is on faculty-student collaboration in research.

Academic Requirements:
- ACT/SAT scores are not required for international first-year applicants who require an F-1 visa. International students graduating from a US high school, on the other hand, must submit their ACT/SAT scores.
- Freshmen applicants must also present academic transcripts, with the first half of the final year's grades clearly visible.
- Applicants with O levels must submit at least 5 subjects' scores, while those with A or AS levels must provide at least 2 subjects' results.
