Sacramento State College, currently known as California State University, Sacramento (CSUS), began operations in 1947 as Sacramento State College. Its first classes were held at Sacramento Junior College, with a class size of 235 pupils. In 1953, the college relocated to its current location. In 1972, it was upgraded to a full university and given its current name. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges has granted the university accreditation today (WASC). The Western Association of Graduate Schools (WAGS) and the National Council of Graduate Schools are also members.
The 300-acre university campus is located in the middle of Sacramento, along the American River. The campus has excellent infrastructure and provides students with a variety of first-rate facilities. The campus has great residential facilities in addition to academic facilities such as a large library, spacious classrooms, and various research centres. Dormitories with a capacity of 1,700 students are placed on the north-eastern side of the campus. Basketball, baseball, swimming, football, soccer, golf, tennis, volleyball, gymnastics, rowing, and softball are among the sports available on campus.
Eight colleges make up the institution, which offers 51 graduate, 64 undergraduate, and 5 doctoral programmes in fields such as arts, communication, design, philosophy, business, engineering, computer science, nursing, and tourism. The university enrols around 31,156 students each year, including a sizable number of international students. The university offers an outstanding faculty and various international relationships that provide for excellent student exchange and study-abroad opportunities.

California State University Sacramento International Student Admissions
