At Ohio University, they believe that high-quality education should be accessible to everyone, and hence they offer many programmes in a dozen locations throughout the state and through online programmes. The locations are Athens, Chillicothe, Eastern, Lancaster, Pickerington, Dublin, Southern, Proctorville, Zanesville, Cleveland and Beavercreek. All nine of Ohio University's undergraduate colleges offer an impressive array of more than 250 programmes of study to choose from. The students can choose from a variety of majors, minors and certificates.
Few undergraduate programmes at the Athens campus are two-year degree programmes while the rest take about four years to complete. For undergraduate admissions, the criteria to be considered are close rank, the strength of curriculum, ACT and/or SAT scores, and grade point average. The university also offers Honours and Scholars Programmes. The participants of the Honours Programmes get the opportunity to be considered for a variety of programmes, which include the Copeland Scholars, where they are given a chance to collaborate with other high-achieving students and engage with faculty and business leaders in the College of Business. In the Connavino Honours Programme, students can participate in collaborative research projects. Scripps Innovation Scholars is a merit scholarship programme for ethically and intellectually bright students.
