Oklahoma City University (OCU) is a private, co-educational university in Oklahoma City. As Epworth University, it was founded in the early 1900s by a local developer. The university, which is affiliated with the United Methodist Church, accepts students from all over the world and provides a variety of degree programmes in liberal arts, fine arts, science, and business. In addition, it is the city's sole institution to have been ranked in the top tier of the regional, masters-level university category by U.S. News and World Report.

Oklahoma City Academic's campus, which spans 104 acres, delivers an enriching university experience to all of its students. A portion of the university's campus was even designated as a historic district by the National Register of Historic Places. On the OCU campus, play performances, films, concerts, operas, sporting events, and seminars sponsored by well-known speakers and business executives from around the world provide cultural amusement and enrichment. In addition, there are over 60 student organisations at the university, with a variety of interests ranging from ethnic to political and religious to specialised types of interest.
