Pittsburg State University, sometimes known as PSU or Pitt State, is an open university. It began as the Auxiliary Manual Training Normal School in 1903 and was transformed into a full-time, four-year college in 1913 as 'Kansas State Teachers College of Pittsburg.' After changing its name to Kansas State College of Pittsburg in 1959, it was granted university status in 1977 and given the name Pittsburg State University.
The university, which is located in Pittsburg, Kansas, educates approximately 7,400 students. Students can pick from over 200 undergraduate and graduate programmes at the university, which is an officially recognised higher education institution. Not only that, but the university is a member of the Kansas Board of Regents and serves over 400 foreign students from 40 countries through a variety of academic programmes and facilities.
The university is situated on around 223 acres of land. The university campus is home to the largest academic building in Kansas that offers a sophisticated technology programme, the magnificent Kansas Technology Center. A performance hall, theatre, spectacular lobby, art gallery, reception hall, and multi-use practise area for huge musical ensembles are also available at the university. Aside from that, the institution operates the Kansas City Metro Center Campus, which is located in the city's metro area. A variety of bachelor's and master's degree programmes are available on campus. Salina Area Technical College now offers two other degree programmes.

Pittsburg State University International Student Admissions
International students from all around the world are encouraged to apply to Pittsburg State University. Applications are being accepted for the months of August (Fall), January (Spring), and June (Summer) (Summer). International students must apply well ahead of the semester deadlines to ensure adequate processing time.
SAT/ACT scores are not required for international students. The University assesses applicants based on their supporting documentation as well as their minimum grade point average (GPA). International students should estimate the cost of living and studying in the United States, as they must offer adequate proof of financial support in order to be admitted.
