Founded in the year 1956, the University of Dallas is a private co-educational university offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various disciplines, including engineering, MBA, DBA and many more. In 1963, this university received accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and in 1989, it became the youngest university to be conferred with the reputable Phi Beta Kappa chapter. Later the university started focusing on creating programs meant for ministerial professions, and thus, the Institute of Religious and Pastoral Studies was established. This institute was renamed as School of Ministry in the year 2007.
