JCU Brisbane’s Bachelor of Information Technology brings together the knowledge and technical skills that are essential when you’re ready to make a start in your professional IT career. You’ll learn about Cyber-Security, Networking, Interactive Visualisation, Big Data and Data Mining, Data Science, Web Technologies, Mobile Technologies, Programming, Design Thinking and a lot more.

You’ll also have the opportunity to apply your skills to real-life business projects through an industry placement or project – so you’ll be building your CV while you study. The projects you’ll work on will give you genuine workplace skills and you’ll be contributing to industry too.

Graduates are eligible to become an Associate Member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS).

Course Structure
The Bachelor of Information Technology is comprised of 24 subjects in total. Students must nominate a Computer Science and Networking Minor or choose 5 subjects from any JCU Brisbane undergraduate program.
