Course Description
Playing with slime, building block towers and painting with spaghetti are more than child’s play. International research has shown that learning through play is vital for helping children develop their creativity, resilience, wellbeing and more. In this course you’ll explore play-based learning and get hands-on experience with a range of teaching and learning methods.
You’ll explore areas of the primary curriculum including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Health and Physical Education and the Arts, with a focus on early childhood learning and development.
As you complete your degree, you’ll build an online portfolio to share your experience with future employers. You could follow this degree with a Master of Education (Coursework) or Master of Education (Research) to expand your career opportunities and build your expertise even further.
