You’ll explore power systems and their components and learn how to effectively design and plan smart power systems to increase reliability and stability of power supply. You’ll also learn about the effects of distributed generation such as rooftop photovoltaic, energy storage, and demand response on power delivery networks and cover advanced concepts associated with the planning and operation of power systems.
Learn about the use and application of computing technologies in the operation of modern industrial plants, manufacturing processes and material processing industries, with a focus on computer-based measurement and control. You’ll understand how to design, commission and test complex industrial control systems and have the opportunity to design, commission and test small-scale systems (including programming, networking and interfacing to instruments).
