Over three years of environmental training and 12 to 16 months of paid co-op placement, you will study and gain experience in environmental processes that provides foundational knowledge of air, water and waste management issues. The environmental course curriculum includes bacteriology, analytical chemistry, air pollution meteorology, water quality management, industrial hygiene and hydrogeology. This environmental program emphasizes measurement and analysis techniques as well as legislation for air, water and waste.

Career Opportunities
This is a co-operative education program providing integration of related paid work experiences with classroom theory during alternating periods of work and study. Students' graduate with twelve to sixteen months of work experience. Employment opportunities exist with provincial and federal government regulatory agencies, petrochemical companies, environmental consultants, industry, pollution measurement control, water and waste water facilities, and public/private research enterprises.
