The Human Resources Management program is a one-year graduate certificate designed for university and college graduates looking for a career in human resources. This program provides you with functional knowledge in core areas of human resources: recruitment and selection, training and development, human resources planning, occupational health and safety, organizational behaviour, finance and accounting, principles in human resources management, compensation and benefits, and labour relations.

In-class students can also apply for the opportunity to further develop their human resources consulting skills, with the option of substituting two courses for the intensive community consultancy program, working with real business live clients.
All nine courses for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation are included in this program so you begin your career with the confidence you need to succeed.
Career Opportunities
Graduates of the Human Resources Management program are prepared to enter the human resources field in all sectors (e.g., manufacturing, health care, education, government). Graduates are suited to a variety of junior-level and intermediate-level positions, including HR Manager, HR Administrator, HR Generalist, HR Consultant, HR Analyst, Labour Relations Consultant, HRIS Administrator, Pension and Benefits Administrator, Recruiter and Training and Development Administration.
