The Welding Techniques Program provides graduates with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and extensive practical hands-on skills to find employment in a variety of industries and trades..
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- Graduates will be proficient in Arc and MIG welding to be hired as entry level welders in a variety of industries and trades.
- Graduates have the option to pay for and attempt the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certifications. St. Clair College is a certified CWB training and testing centre.
- Welding continues to be in demand locally, provincially and nationally. Companies regularly seek St. Clair College grads.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates are prepared for positions in several trades such as welder, boilermaker, pipefitter, steamfitter, plumber, iron worker and sheet metal worker.
