Program Description: 

The MSc Health Sciences - Public Health Specialization program builds on the success of our undergraduate Public Health BHSc. The program has been designed to give students the advanced skills they need for competitive entry into the public health workforce as program managers, program evaluators, infectious disease control analysts, and policy analysts, among other positions, and also provides excellent preparation for a health-related PhD.

Who can supervise your MSc thesis in Public Health?

For your application to be considered, you must secure a Public Health faculty member to supervise you in the program in advance of your application. Each faculty member accepts only a few students per year. Please reach out early to faculty who specialize in an area of public health you would like to work in by clicking on their names below. Sending potential faculty members your CV, transcripts, and a writing sample, although not required, can also help with their decision

At the point of admission, eligible applicants are considered for the Graduate Research Award, Graduate Assistantship, SGS Tuition Scholarship, and SGS Dean's Scholarship. Who Can Apply?

Successful applicants will have an undergraduate degree with a minimum grade point average of 3.00 (based on the uLethbridge 4.00 scale) on the last 20 graded university-level term courses in the health, social or natural sciences.
