Environmental Biology in University of Regina

Environmental Biology enables you to explore contemporary environmental issues and learn how to monitor, assess and manage the use of natural resources, apply mapping and remote sensing techniques and conduct research.

You enter this program in your third year following the completion of one of the following programs: the Integrated Resource Management Diploma from SIAST (Woodland Campus), the Diploma in Renewable Resource Management from Lethbridge College, or the Environmental Sciences Diploma with a Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation major from Lakeland College. This means you complete the first two years at either SIAST, Lethbridge College or Lakeland College and then complete the final two years at the University of Regina.

The two-year diploma is not required for this specialisation. Students may choose to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Ecology & Environmental Biology Concentration) without the corresponding two-year diploma.
