Bachelor's Degree in Media Management with specialisation in Event Management - emotion, excitement and celebration
An experience for all the senses - that is the great strength of a live event. This could be the Munich Oktoberfest, a performance by Lady Gaga in front of tens of thousands of fans, the opening of the Berlinale with stars like George Clooney on the red carpet or the Street Life Festival with finger food from all over the world, well-known show acts and open-air cinema.
The magic of big events is endless and has always inspired people all over the world. It is not a coincidence that the large event arenas continue to be built today in the style of the Roman coliseum or the Greek amphitheatre. It was here that the great events took place, making history, entertaining the people and serving political ends. Even today events have an irresistible appeal for all generations. New concepts and marketing ideas are constantly being developed in the event industry. Formats such as flash mobs are a good example of the influence of social media in the event sector. Virtual events are bound to increase in the coming years and virtual reality is already opening up new, fascinating worlds to visitors of these happenings with the use of 3D glasses.
