This programme will provide you with a thorough knowledge of theory and methods used in all Accounting & Finance sectors, preparing you for further professional accountancy qualifications. You will learn accountancy themes supported by the study of foundation subjects, including: Economics, Management, Marketing, Law, and Information Technology. As a graduate of this two-year programme, you will have the skills to work at an accounting technician level in the business field.

On successful completion of this programme you will qualify for entry onto the Ordinary Degree -1 year add-on programme in Accounting and Finance (Level 7 award) in LIT. Ultimately, if you are successful in the Level 7 programme (Ladder system) you may progress to the Honours Degree (1 year add-on programme) Level 8 award in Accounting and Finance.
