Construction Management (top-up) Bsc (hons) in Anglia Ruskin University
Around 10% of the UK workforce is employed in the construction industry and there’s a strong demand for managers with the necessary technical knowledge and professional skills.
This course will extend your knowledge of the key areas of responsibility for construction managers, including site engineering surveying, project planning and management, law, business and construction technology.
There’s a strong practical dimension in the shape of role play and group work – and you’ll explore a specialist topic in-depth during the major project/dissertation phase.
By the time you complete our course you’ll be a confident problem-solver and leader, with a sound understanding of the key issues you’re likely to encounter in site or project management.
Additionally you’ll have studied the construction management role in depth, be familiar with its methods and be able to manage your own contribution and development in this fast-paced industry.
The course leads naturally to further academic study and professional development if you’d like to apply for membership of bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologies (CIAT).
To start this course you must hold a recognised Higher National Diploma (HND) in construction. Please contact us if you’d like to confirm you’re eligible.
