This exciting course is run jointly by Computer Science and Creative Studies and Media. It is aimed at students who want to study computer science but who also wish to explore the new digital technologies used by the creative industries, including: television and radio, film and video, architecture, software and computer games, design, and advertising. Computer science techniques are at the core of many of the application areas in these industries. This course will equip you with a solid grounding in the technical skills required to make you a sought after professional in this field. You will also benefit from teaching that relates to the research interests of the academic staff, who have a worldwide reputation in computer graphics and visualisation research.
