You will have a keen interest in TV, radio, social and digital news and current affairs plus sport, lifestyle and national and international politics. Though this course is not just about presenting on screen or on air, you must be prepared to present your material on camera or mic, and write and direct material for others to perform. Both practical and core journalism skills (Media Law, Journalism Ethics, Data Journalism) are taught in groups of 15 and upwards through lectures, workshops and broadcast-simulated news days.
