Course Details
Completing this course will part fulfil the vocational stage of your training to qualify as a solicitor. Recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, it meets the authority's training requirements and covers a range of legal subjects prescribed by the professional body.
Your learning will focus on realistic case studies and you will take part in workshops that explore the challenges of professional practice. You will be taught by a team of academic staff who are qualified lawyers with wide-ranging professional experience. Their expertise will feed into your learning and they will be able to support you through a variety of option modules as you start to explore particular areas of interest.

Please note that this course requires attendance of four days 9:30 – 16:30 in the first week’s introductory course for both full-time and part-time students. These days will include sessions on employability skills, a mini assessment centre assessed by Leeds practitioners, and a networking event.
