On this new MSc course, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation in aerospace structures and materials science. We’ll build on your existing expertise by giving you an in-depth understanding of engineering approaches to current aerospace problems. As well as specialist skills in computational modeling, aerospace structural analysis, material selection theory and implementation issues.

You’ll then specialise in one of several highly-sophisticated fields, such as:

  • computational solid and fluid mechanics

You’ll be integrated into one of our research teams and work on an aerospace engineering-related project, supervised by one of our research staff. You’ll have access to our excellent facilities, enabling you to conduct cutting edge research that could lead to publication at scientific conferences and in peer-reviewed journals.

You’ll have the opportunity to gain industrial experience, as we try to ensure that you take part in projects with our industrial partners.
