Our teaching team include journalists with both recent and current experience working for BBC News, BBC Radio 4, ITV regional news, Radio 5 Live, Yorkshire Post and Sheffield Star.

Our industry links enhance our ability to link you with excellent real-world opportunities. Work experience will take place at a relevant news or PR organisation, and will form the basis of your final module. This can take place in the UK or elsewhere — if you are an international student, you may be able to work in home country. The experience will help you to build up a portfolio of work to demonstrate your ability to potential employers, and to understand the day-to-day cycle of news and media.
