Previously our students have secured roles at the Leukaemia Research Foundation in London, Royal Derby Hospital, The Institute of Cancer Research in London and local pharmacies
- State-of-the-art laboratories: Newly-upgraded learning facilities which include high-specification laboratories with modern instrumentation and specialist containment facilities for the growth and manipulation of bacteria and viruses as well as the sequencing and characterisation of DNA
- High professional standard: Benefit from quality learning with our BSc (Hons) Human Biology accredited by the Royal Society of Biology and the BSc (Hons) Biomedical Health course which will receive accreditation on graduation of its first cohort in 2019

In your second year, there is the chance to observe a post-mortem examination at Royal Derby Hospital.
We have also opened a student research laboratory which gives you a dedicated space for your independent study project at the end of your degree.
