Msc Advanced Practice in University of Dundee

This course will underpin theoretical knowledge and clinical skills. It will enable you to practice autonomously, to assess, diagnose and manage undiagnosed, undifferentiated and complex clinical presentations, in an evidence based, safe, effective and person-centred way.

You will develop your knowledge and skills in advanced practice, by undertaking a range of modules based on the four pillars of Advanced Practice:

There are two intakes per year (September and January), and the course is delivered on a modular basis over three and half years. You will undertake four taught modules that will expand your thinking and expertise in current and clinically focused topics. After completing these four modules you will progress to your dissertation and you will be allocated a supervisor.  The NMP module is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the Health and Care Professions Council.

All teaching staff who will be involved in delivering this course hold a postgraduate education qualification or fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
