Creative Film, Television And Digital Media Production BA (hons) in University of Northampton

This practice-based course will give you a wide range of experience and a greater understanding of media production across a number of genres such as drama and documentary.

Course Details

You will start by studying a broad range of media before specialising for your final year. Although there is a practical emphasis for this course, you will also learn contemporary theories and approaches to media forms, audiences and industries. The course is designed to enable you to play a full role in the modern digital media world through the experience you will gain and the portfolio of work you will produce.

Methods of Learning

For this course taught study will be a combination of lectures, seminars and workshops for around 12 contact hours per week. We recommend you also spend 12 hours per week in self-directed study time.

Assessments

You will be assessed through practical projects, essays and other written assignments, seminar presentations, pitches, and some examinations.
