The BA (Hons) Design for Sport, Health and Wellbeing is an industry-focused design programme. It is a collaboration between the School of Arts and Media and the School of Health and Society and as such draws upon a wealth of expertise, knowledge and established external partnerships.

This course is concerned with the design of Products and Services for Sports, Health and Wellbeing. It is underpinned by Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design, where the human user is central to the design process. The indicative themes are current and forward looking, broad in scope and will enable you to acquire specialist knowledge and skills preparing you for employment across a broad range of product and service design related roles.

You will:

  • use our new £55 million purpose-built Arts and Media building which includes extensive design studios and specialist workshops.
  • be taught by specialist staff and industry professionals, gaining insight, contacts and direct experience of Design for Health and Wellbeing
  • work on live projects, and strong industry engagement that will give you a real understanding and first-hand experience of Design for Health and Wellbeing
