Post Production and VFX are two ever changing and constantly evolving areas of media production. The skills and blend of theory and practical are at the heart of the course and it has been developed and shaped with a range of key industry companies to ensure that what is taught reflects this constantly changing industry.

This course works on the principle practices of media workflows and will cover all areas of post production from initial shooting through edit and sound design to VFX creation, colour grading and distribution. Teamwork and collaborative practices are at the heart of the course ethos and this will equip students with a solid grounding in the specialist skills and advanced theory that apply to post-production practice.

Our unique location at the heart of MediaCityUK means you are ideally placed to tap into a network of leading post production and VFX companies such as ITV, Dock10, Flix and The Farm. You will have many opportunities to get involved with the media industry through a series of live briefs and engage with media practitioners across a number of initiatives, events and projects.
