Work Based Learning: Using And Disseminating Evidence Into Practice in University of Salford

This programme offers registered nurses and Allied Health Professional an opportunity to develop knowledge and practice that could improve service user care experience. The programme was developed and is delivered in partnership with Greater Manchester West NHS Mental Health Foundation Trust using a work-based learning approach and delivered at the GMW site.

There are two modules for the postgraduate certificate or each can be taken as standalone modules.

You will:

  • Develop your project management skills through a negotiated research project to support you in developing skills for managing change and undertaking research to improve practice and patient care
  • Be supported in preparing to write for publications on your work based learning project by taking a critical approach in searching for research findings from practice
  • Develop a structured and rigorous approach to effective dissemination of research findings
