This degree will give you an in-depth knowledge of both economics and accounting. You'll how to use Bloomberg terminals in our Financial Laboratory (FinLab) and may decide to study abroad or take a year in employment. It is ideal for those looking for a career in economic or accounting consultancy.
This Economics and Accounting course will give you specialist knowledge of microeconomics and macroeconomics and the main concepts of accountancy. These will help you better understand the behaviour of individuals and businesses, and the economy as a whole.
Optional modules will let you shape your studies around your interests or career plans. These include international banking, risk management or public economics.
You'll study in lectures and small classes and our facilities include the behavioural economics lab, and the Financial Laboratory (FinLab). This is a realistic trading room environment, using the most detailed financial data available.
The programme is taught in conjunction with the Business School.
