Banking And Finance (top-up) BA (hons) in University of Sunderland

This course is designed for people who want to gain a full undergraduate degree. As a student on a top-up year, you’ll qualify for our MAPS (Making Achievement Possible at Sunderland) programmes. These recognise that you may have had a gap between finishing your diploma, or equivalent, and starting the top-up year. They integrate support for study skills and future employability and are provided by our team of full-time Student Academic Advisors.

A typical week for you will include lectures, seminars, group work and e-learning. We encourage you to develop independent study skills. You will also have opportunities to present ideas to other students and develop concepts within groups.

As well as assessments that count towards your degree, there are also on-going assessments for feedback and consolidating your learning. Assessment methods include written coursework, projects, presentations and exams.
