The finance program at the Dolan School of Business is designed to develop individual competency in the financial tools and analysis that help organizations stay informed and make wise fiscal decisions. Through the use of case studies and computer-based problem solving, finance majors blends theory and practice.
The finance program at the Dolan School is a member of the CFA® Institute University Affiliation Program (UAP). This certification acknowledges that the Dolan School's finance programs incorporates a significant portion of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and places emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice within the program.
Coursework covers business organization, production and operations, marketing, information systems, business law, and ethics. Students perform financial analysis and learn to manage portfolios of stocks, bonds, and options.
