Digital Design in New Jersey Institute of Technology
Digital Design is an always-evolving multidisciplinary program that prepares students to make creative contributions in areas ranging from electronic communications to advertising to entertainment. Designers create intellectual property and apply aesthetic solutions to enhance the value of a product or service.
Digital designers are creative problem-solvers who can visually organize technical information on the one hand, and create completely new imaginary virtual domains on the other – and almost anything in between. They are comfortable with ambiguity, searching out a range of potential solutions to problems not yet articulated; they create and present content that feeds a variety of domains including game design, architecture, interior design, product design, environment design for entertainment and advertising, animation, web design, storyboard art, and scientific visualization.
