Urban Systems in New Jersey Institute of Technology

Co-sponsored by NJIT and Rutgers University-Newark, the Joint PhD Program in Urban Systems prepares you to conduct rigorous research about the challenges cities face and to participate in the development of programs and policies to address those challenges.

By completing the program, with courses at NJIT and Rutgers, you will gain a critical understanding of the range and complexity of challenges cities face in the US and elsewhere.
