Business Administration / Dentistry (dual Degree), MBA / Dmd in University of Alabama At Birmingham
When you set up your own dental practice, it's important that you cut your teeth in business well before you start treating patients. Our dual degree program gives you the education you need to be both a dentist and business owner.
But how do we help you juggle the pursuit of two demanding degrees? It's simple. We specifically designed a program that will flow well with your busy dental school schedule. In fact, you can start your MBA classes the summer before you begin dental school, and we'll offer remaining courses at key times throughout your four years in the program. These MBA courses will include Accounting and Finance for Managers, Strategic Cost Analysis and Decision Making, and Marketing Strategy. As part of your dental education, you'll participate in clinical activities, perform dental procedures, and complete a curriculum that includes basic science and dental science courses. This intense schedule is precisely the reason we've made the dual degree so flexible.
- The UAB Collat School of Business was named one of the nation's best business schools by The Princeton Review. And the UAB School of Dentistry is ranked among the world's top 25 dental schools, according to ShanghaiRankings.
