Examine human anatomy and physiology, and explore the role of vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats, carbohydrates and microscopic organisms in the body’s biochemical processes. Learn to create nutrition plans, calculate caloric needs, plan healthy menus and advise clients about their diets.
