Criminology and Criminal Justice MA
The MA Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northumbria University is a dynamic course that offers a flexible mode of study. You will be encouraged to develop a critical understanding of the key themes, issues and political debates concerning crime, crime control and criminal and social justice in the UK and globally.

Criminology and Sociology BSc (Hons)
You will have the option to apply for a relevant work placement – for instance, in a prison or police station – and learn from lecturers who are also leading researchers in a variety of cutting-edge research fields in criminology and sociology.

Criminology and Forensic Science BSc (Hons)
The course has two distinct themes – the criminological theme covers the theory of crime, how society is policed and the issues and alternatives to custodial sentencing.

Criminology BSc (Hons)
You will learn from an experienced academic team who span a range of specialist backgrounds. Members of our team hold leading roles in professional associations, including the British Society of Criminology.
