BIOLOGY
The Master of Science in Biology is a two-year, 32-credit hour program designed to strengthen students’ content knowledge, problem-solving skills and research capabilities.

MARINE BIOLOGY
Marine biology majors at Northwest study marine organisms and their ecology, habitat and interaction. Faculty focus on ecology, or the study of organisms and their habitats; diversity, in organisms; and adaptations of organisms and diatoms, or the unicellular life of oceans.

BIOLOGY
Biology is the study of all life forms. Northwest faculty focus on preparing students for careers in all areas including botany, cell biology, ecology, environmental science, molecular biology, microbiology and zoology. Upon completion of core courses, students choose an area in which to specialize based on interests.
