After admission, all entering students must take placement examinations. The placement examinations, which are at a level of typical terminal college courses, are offered in the areas of analytical, inorganic, organic, physical, and biochemistry. All graduate students must show proficiency in three areas of their choice.

CHEMISTRY
The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in Chemistry is designed to prepare students for a variety of career choices, including professional programs in dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, as well as positions in industry and government that require a background in chemistry.
